SAD open to alliance with other parties: Badal

Moga (Punjab), Oct 12  Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today said SAD is open to tie-up with other parties in the upcoming Assembly elections but it will not affect its allaince with BJP. "We are open to form alliance with other parties in the assembly elections...SAD is open to all such possibilities," he said. Badal, however, said the move will not affect SAD-BJP alliance. SAD-BJP alliance is firm and tie-up with other party will take a concrete form after the consent of the ally, he said. Punjab elections are due on February next year. Taking a dig at the Congress, the chief minister said, "While the party state chief Amrinder Singh was supporting Anna Hazare's movement, the central leadership was busy in criticising him." "Instead of critisising Anna, the Congress high command should support his crusade against corruption," Badal told reporters on the sidelines of a function here.
