Congress plans to tackle Anna’s Right to Recall


New Delhi: Anna Hazare had declared that electoral reforms will be on top of his agenda, minutes after ending his fast on Sunday. After suffering at the hands of anti-corruption movement, Congress is planning to tackle Anna Hazare’s Right to Recall MPs. The party wants to ensure that their image does not fall contrary to the popular sentiment in case Anna Hazare plans another movement.

The Congress believes that people with political ambition had used Anna’s movement as a platform to target their party. The statement of BJP president, Nitin Gadkari, that their party supports the demands of Team Anna adds value to the speculation. The party believes that the opposition had targeted them in particular in accordance to the movement. The party plans to safeguard themselves from being a target of people with political ambition.

The party also plans to use their youth brigade to improvise their public image. The ministers Sachin Pilot, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jitin Prasad, Milind Deora and MPs Sandeep Dixit, Priya Dutt will lead the forefront as per the strategy of the Congress. Their objective is to refurnish the public image of the party at the time of the movement and in turn tackle the situations that may hinder the party’s approach. In accordance to the strategy of the Congress, two groups have been formed wherein; one would tackle the situations aggressively while the other will use diplomacy.
