Swamy announces new body against corruption

New Delhi: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy has formed a new organisation to fight corruption which will support similar movements of Anna Hazare and yoga guru Ramdev.

The Action Committee Against Corruption was formed in Chennai to take effective action against corrupt activities within the present legal framework, Swamy said in a statement today.

The committee will meet in Delhi on November three to discuss proposals prepared by its members on how civil society can recover the amounts in illegal accounts of politicians, businessmen and others in secret banking abroad.

The committee supports the movements of Hazare and Ramdev, the statement said.
