New Delhi: Terming Anna Hazare's fast as a symbol of mobocracy, LJP president Ramvilas Paswan on Tuesday described the Jan Lokpal Bill proposed by the civil society activist as unconstitutional.
"What Anna Hazare did was unconstitutional and against the spirit of democracy. What if others start following his ways to get their demand fulfilled? No one should take the government to ransom by such means," Paswan said in New Delhi.

Addressing a press conference in support of the Bahujan Lokpal Bill proposed by Chairman of All India Confederation of SC and ST Organisation Udit Raj, Paswan demanded reservation for people from Scheduled Castes and women in the selection committee for appointing the Lokpal.
"People from backward community should get reservation in selection committee to appoint the Lokpal. We would be carrying out a rally here on November 30 to gather support for our demands," he said.
