Even as the court dismissed his plea, it noted Singh was correct to some extent in saying that the huge public gathering at the Ramlila Ground had caused disruption and obstruction in traffic and that it had become difficult for authorities to control the public and maintain law and order. According to it, certain cases of theft and quarrels had come to the notice and FIRs were also lodged.
