Anna Hazare Forum invites activist to Bijapur


BIJAPUR: A 20-member team of Anna Hazare Forum invited the social activist Anna Hazare and his civil society members to visit Bijapur, in Raleganasiddhi village, Maharashtra on Saturday.

Former Lokayukta Santosh Hegde suggested the members to chalk out a programme to create awareness among the people. During their visit the members met Social Activist Anna Hazare, Justice Santosh Hegde, Kiran Bedi and Aravind Kejriwal Shashi Bhushan and others.
Vishwanath Bhavi, who led the team exhibited photographs and paper clippings of the anti-corruption movement which took place in the historic city of Bijapur. The civil society members expressed their satisfaction over the good response shown by the citizens in the historic city.

Mallamma Yalawar, Kantheerav Kullolli, Peter Alexander, Shankaragouda Patil, D H Mulla, Suresh Vijapur, Lakhmi Desai, Chandrakant Bijjaragi, Jayasri Chigari, Shivamma Wali, Shivanand Lakkond, Iranna Allagi, Amin Hullur, SY Ganganalli Sujata Deginar, Ramesh Chavan, S M Halakatti are part of the team.

Hazare forum committee members visited Raleganasiddhi village in Maharashtra state where they met Justice Santosh Hegde and extended invitation to Anna Hazare for visiting Bijapur.
