New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to discuss the anti-graft campaign of Anna Hazare, whose fast for a stronger Lokpal bill continued for eighth day, sources said.
"Serious efforts are being made to solve the issue. Dikshit's meeting with the prime minister is among them," a Delhi government official said on condition of anonymity.
Some of Hazare's supporters on Monday staged sit-ins in front of the residences of union Ministers Pranab Mukherjee and Kapil Sibal, and also Dikshit.
